Woodplay Uses Cedar - Why?

The lumber used in our playsets offers many great advantages! They are dimensionally stable which means the boards will remain flat and straight with minimal warping or cupping. Cedar playsets are naturally decay and insect resistant without the necessity of using harsh chemical treatments.

Woodplay playsets are built with durability and longevity in mind. Our Cedar playsets carry a limited lifetime warranty (the best in the industry!). We apply a transparent stain that enhances the natural beauty of the lumber to complement your yard. The stain is water- based, kid-friendly, low in volatile organic compounds and safe for play.
